Policy Board
The Policy Board oversees the continuous, comprehensive and cooperative transportation planning process conducted for the Walla Walla Valley region. It provides policy direction and a forum for transportation decisions. The Board must approve all transportation projects in the region receiving FHWA or FTA funding. It is supported by the MPO Staff, and receives technical advice and recommendations on projects and programs from the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Human Services Transportation Coalition (HSTC). Membership
The Policy Board is made up of 11 voting members. They represent the City of Walla Walla, City of College Place, City of Prescott, City of Waitsburg, Walla Walla County, Umatilla County, Port of Walla Walla, Valley Transit, Washington State Department of Transportation and Oregon Department of Transportation, Confederate Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
